The Faculty of Home Science is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge which draws upon many disciplines such as chemistry, physics, physiology, biology, hygiene, economics, rural development, child development, sociology and family relations, community living, art, food and nutrition, fabric and apparel designing, clothing, and textiles. Home Science means the art of managing your resources efficiently and the science of achieving a healthy and happy home as well as successful career.
Under the Umbrella of this faculty, the Institute of Home Science offers UG, PG, Integrated Dual-Degree and PhD Degree in the Department of Home Science.
