The department has started two courses at postgraduate level from this session 2019-20, M.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Computer Science. The department shall endeavour to get recognized for excellence among institutions in India in two years. We develop analytical skills, sustained attention and ability to solve problems among the students. With special focus on application oriented subjects, various methodologies to develop software products, utilising advance network technology and application software.
M.Sc. Mathematics is a postgraduate programme of two years, subdivided into four semesters. Mathematics, we all know is all about numbers and the calculations and whoever finds interests in numbers opt for the career is mathematics field.

- The main objective of this course is to give first-hand knowledge in advanced applied mathematics and forefront research experience.
- The curriculum is design to cultivate a mathematical attitude and nurture the interests, to motivate for research in mathematical and statistical sciences, and to train computational scientists who can work on real life challenging problems.
M.Sc. in Computer Science is a two-year post-graduate programme with the objective to develop human resources with core competence in various thrust areas of Computer Science.
